Update on the nursery

I've been getting quite a few inquiries about the nursery lately, so I thought I'd give you all a sneak peak. We've purchased the crib, dresser, and bookshelf and they're all sitting in their boxes waiting for Franz to put them together- I'm just kidding, of course I'm going to help him put everything together, I'm actually looking forward to that part, it will be fun :) I've also picked up a few other random decorative items along the way as well. My new favorite website is http://www.etsy.com/ and I've been stalking it everyday searching for the perfect inspiration piece- Michael Miller's Disco Dot blanket in Sorbet. Etsy is a website similar to ebay but without the annoying auction part. People all around the world list their handmade items for sale. I would so much rather give my money to these talented individuals than a big box store- plus, you get a custom item that not everyone else has, what more could you ask for?

So here is the color palette that I've chosen for our little girl who is still unnamed by the way. And yes, I will be using the color black whether you think it's appropriate for a girls room or not.

I'd love to get started painting this weekend, so I guess I just need to settle on a paint color!!!
